Electronic Police Clearance System using Fingerprint Scanner (FullSourcecode)


A police Clearance System is an official document issued by police or
government agency of a country to enumerate any criminal records that
the applicant may have. Criminal records may include arrest, conviction, and possibly criminal proceedings

1. For Police Clearance Monitoring System

It uses biometric fingerprints for recording the time of login and logout
of the police officer for monitoring purposes.This system automatically
computes the police officer record of absences, late and over time.
The police officer can view their duty schedule that render into the system.

2. For Electronic Police Clearance System

It registers reliable client information and captures the client fingerprint using biometric.
User-friendly feature enables easy searching of records depending on chosen parameters.
User-friendly design using easily-comprehensible menus facilitates utilization of application features.
It uses webcam for capturing the client image in registration for police clearance.

However, the proposed system is limited to the following:
The fingerprint scanner will not read or verify a distorted or damaged fingerprint in case the registered fingerprint had a cut after it was registered.There can be a case of one or more trial when logging in/logging out using the fingerprint scanner.
It is unavailable when there is a power interruption.

Accuracy
In the study, accuracy is pertained to the correctness and completeness of all data involved in transaction and reports of police personnel and client.
Biometric
The measurement of physical characteristics, such as fingerprints, DNA, or retinal patterns, for use in verifying the identity of individuals. In the study, it is fingerprints use in verifying the identity of the police personnel and the client.
Database
Is a system intended to organize, store, and retrieve large amounts of data easily. In the study, database was used to store and retrieve information about the police personnel and client. 
Electronic
It is activity involves the use of electronic devices. In the study we used the biometric as our electronic device.
Fingerprint 
A unique characteristic, mark or pattern that can be used to identify somebody or something.
Monitoring
Is the systematic collection and analysis of information as project progresses.
Security.
It refers to ensure that only people with permission enter it or leave it in the premises.
User Convenience. It means that all aspects of subject heading work choices concerning specificity.
